So we closed today and between going out for breakfast and Coldwell Banker, I got to run into my favorite thrift shop and found these three tiny Pyrex bowls. Yippee! I have seen the black/tan striped bowl many times but it is hard to find in a good condition. I have found many pieces lately but because of the move I just don't have the time to snap anything. My collection is growing, growing, growing. Missing it here and missing you!

$20

Sorry folks, since I'm packing things up as they come home I miss the occasional Kodak moment, so there'll be no picture with this post (I will take a picture once I've moved). I have the good grace of having every other weekend be three days long, and as you might guess, I spend Fridays at my favorite thrifts. I spotted eight pieces of Pyrex yesterday (actually, I spotted 11, but I took home 8) and was one happy camper. So I have 8 more Pyrex bowls to share once I get a chance to unpack them! Hope all of you are having a nice weekend. Happy thrifting!

shenango
For such a small price, I couldn't say no to this tiny Shenango creamer...the olive color is great, too. It doesn't have a handle which I really like.

Oops. I broke the cardinal rule: no more dishes! I couldn't help this purchase. Also, I've been visiting a Goodwill in Boynton Beach on my lunch breaks that consistently turns up nothing! When I saw these plates I thought I would try to turn my luck around!

I love bookends - especially alphabet bookends - but I never break down and buy them because they always seem ridiculously expensive. These are a little scuffed, dirty, well-worn and loved, but they weigh approximately 30 pounds. Each. I love them! I feel so lucky to have found them.

*Steve and I are packing up our belongings and getting ready to move into our first home! My posting might be sparse during the month of June, but I will continue to hit the thrift shops (I actually found some Fiestaware, miscellaneous Homer Laughlin and Syracuse pieces this morning...) even though it may seem like I'm being dormant.

Thank you always for your patronage here - this is one of my favorite places to dish.
